March 31,2026. Today DRC Leopards are going to play against Jamaican Reggae Boys in Guadalajara, Mexico for a qualification to the final round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This derby forms a huge opportunity for DRC to come back to this Football Event after 52 years. My wish is obviously to see them win, but the victory has to be on the pitch. I see the Reggae Boys playing from times to times. Like for many Caribbean matches, the stadium is half full, I really don't have a clue re their form or strength. DRC look solid and collect on paper. Their last wins over Cameroon and Nigeria convinced me. But as said, in Football victory only counts after 90 minutes. Wait and see. Fimbu, fimbu will occur hopefully. Let us cross our fingers.
