Quality Assurance Workshop

I am about to attend a Quality Assurance Workshop planned for November 11-12, but I will only participate in today's session. The UWI is placed 32nd among the 150 best ranked universities across Latin America and the Caribbean, compared to 37th last year.

The UWI remains the number 1 ranked university in the Caribbean among over 200 registered universities. New Rankings put the UWI among top 5 percent of best Universities in the world. 

The UWI needs the support of Quality Champions to implement the new Quality Policy (QP), linked to its triple AAA strategic plan: Access, Alignment, Agility. 

The workshop will assist us in identifying, developing and applying some foundational tools that are helpful in implementing the QP. It will ensure that the Campuses and the University Centre have access to a pool of colleagues - champions - across all categories of staff.
PVC Clive Landis and his team - Drs Kay Thompson and Sandra Richards - conducted the workshop with competence and efficiency.
