April 4, 2018. This morning I was informed of the passing of Mrs. Newton by a colleague who knows my relationship to her family. And the funeral service takes place on Wednesday April 11, at 1pm, at Beulah Methodist Church, St Philip. The Newtons received us twice at their beautiful home; we will keep a fond memory of Mrs. Newton. Last time we met, it was at a Campus' 50th Celebration function. We spoke of catching up some time later. I will attend the funeral. My condolences to Prof. em. Earl Newton, Nana and their other dear ones.
Rest in Peace Mrs. Newton.
