Yesterday January 21, 2020, we received the sad news of Fr Joachim's passing. A Jesuit father, he served at St Francis to replace Fr. Michael sj as parish priest during the time of his absence. In November we celebrated a farewell ceremony for him. I remember seeing him enjoying music and dancing. A wonderful and amazing pastor! I used to talk to him after masses, discuss with him on present topics such as climate change, Caribbean culture and burning present news. He is actually the one who gave me the parish WiFi password to follow mass readings.
May your soul rest in peace Fr Joachim. My kids Jr and Chrys miss you!
